Beauty and the Beast runs 12 to 27 December at Borough Hall, £15 to £25, booking open. Every performance time, and the relaxed-show date the site gets wrong.
Godalming’s pantomime this year is Beauty and the Beast, running from Saturday 12 to Sunday 27 December 2026 at Borough Hall, The Burys, Godalming, GU7 1HY. Tickets are £15 to £25 and booking is already open, which puts it well ahead of most of the district’s Christmas events.
It also matters because Farnham does not have one. Checked on 4 September 2026 against the producer’s own site and listings.

There is no performance on 15, 16 or 25 December. The show runs about two hours including the interval.
The relaxed performance, and the date the site gets wrong
There is one relaxed performance, and it is on Monday 14 December at 5.30pm. The producers describe it as house lights staying on, the volume turned down, and freedom to come and go from the auditorium as needed: “this show is for you, so whatever you need to do to enjoy it is fine by us.” It is priced at £15.
Be careful here, because godalmingpanto.com contradicts itself. The text at the top of the page says Monday 14 December. The ticket panel further down the same page says Monday 15 December. Both say 5.30pm.
14 December 2026 is a Monday. The 15th is a Tuesday. The performance listing also puts the relaxed show on the 14th, and has no performance at all on the 15th. So Monday 14 December is the date, and the lower panel on the panto site is the error.
Tickets and booking
- Prices £15 to £25, with concessions for OAPs, under-16s and registered disabled patrons.
- Under-2s go free if they sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap.
- Booking is online through TicketSource, or by phone: the producers ask you to WhatsApp or iMessage 07506 158664 for a call back.
- School, nursery and club group bookings go through info@wyschproductions.com rather than the website.
- No refunds and no exchanges. The producers state this twice on their own page.
- Tickets arrive by email from TicketSource and can land in junk folders. Have them downloaded or printed, because the QR code is scanned on the door.
The show is produced by Wysch Productions, co-directed by Charlotte and Nick Wyschna, and written by Andrew Pollard.
Getting there and access
Borough Hall is in The Burys, beside the river, a few minutes from Godalming station.
- The Borough Hall has no parking of its own. The producers name Crown Court as the nearest car park. Waverley car parks in Godalming are free on Sundays and Christmas Day, which covers the 13th, 20th and 27th, but not the weekday and Saturday performances. The tariff structure is the same as the one set out on our Farnham parking page.
- Wheelchair and pushchair access is described as good, with a disabled toilet and baby change on site.
- No food or drink can be brought in. There is a bar selling drinks and snacks.
- The A31 and Farnham town centre roadworks do not affect the route to Godalming from most directions, but if you are coming through Farnham, check the roadworks and travel page first.
Why there is no Farnham panto to compare it with
Farnham Maltings had a Christmas family show in 2025, The Snowsmith, which ran from 12 to 24 December. That page has now been taken down and returns a 404, and the Maltings’ what’s on listing as of early September runs only to the autumn season. No 2026 Christmas show has been announced.
Be careful with search results here, because several listings sites still carry The Snowsmith as though it were current, quoting “Friday 12 December to Wednesday 24 December” and prices of £18 to £20 for adults. Those weekdays are 2025’s. In 2026 the 12th is a Saturday and the 24th a Thursday.
The Maltings has confirmed one festive fixture for 2026: its Christmas Fair on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November, with over 140 independent stalls. Farnham’s own dates are the Christmas lights switch-on on Saturday 14 November and the Christmas market on Sunday 13 December.
Still to be confirmed: any 2026 Christmas show at Farnham Maltings, which would normally be announced with its winter season. This page will be updated if one appears.
