Haslemere’s Christmas Market is on Sunday 6 December 2026, from 10am to 4pm, across West Street, the High Street and Haslemere Educational Museum. It is the 25th market, run by Haslemere Events, and they say over 100 stalls are already booked. Father Christmas arrives at the museum during the day.

The one practical thing to plan around: the town centre is closed to traffic from 6am to 9pm, and a free Hoppa bus runs from the edge of town all day. Everything below was checked on 30 September 2026 against the organisers’ own page and their 2026 stallholder booking form.

  • Over 100 stalls of gifts, food and drink, filling West Street, the High Street and the museum. The market is fully booked, with a waiting list for traders.
  • The South West Surrey Farmers’ Market joins in its usual spot in West Street.
  • Rides for children and adults in the High Street.
  • Father Christmas arrives at Haslemere Museum. The organisers have not published a time.
  • Hot food and drink stalls around the whole area, and many of the town’s shops open on the day.

For traders, the 2026 booking form sets out the pitch prices, which rise for applications received after 1 November: a 3m pitch in the yellow zone is £130 (£170 after 1 November), the blue zone £110 (£150), a pop-up mini marquee £140 (£175), a table space inside the museum £70 (£100), and a Farmers’ Market pitch in West Street £80 (£95) for members of the South West Surrey Farmers’ Market.

Road closures, parking and the Hoppa bus

The town centre is closed to traffic from 6am to 9pm on the Sunday, with diversions in place. Haslemere Events asks residents in the affected area with concerns to contact them at events@haslemere.com, or on the day by mobile on 07771 922 873.

Rather than drive into the middle of town, use the free Hoppa bus, which runs throughout the day from Lion Green, St Christopher’s Green, Weydown Road car park and the station.
