Godalming’s town fireworks are on Friday 6 November 2026 at Guildford Rugby Club’s Broadwater Pavilion, Guildford Road, GU7 3DH. Gates open at 6.30pm and the fireworks go up at 8pm. Tickets are on sale now and must be bought in advance.
The event is run by Guildford Rugby Club with Godalming Town Council, and the money raised goes to local charities and the club’s community rugby. Everything below was checked on 30 September 2026 against the club’s own event page and its ticket shop.

The date you may find is last year’s
Godalming Town Council’s own fireworks page still reads “the annual Firework event will be held on Friday, 7 November 2025”, with gates at 6pm and last year’s prices. That page has not been updated for 2026. The current details are on the rugby club’s 2026 page, which says tickets, including the limited car parking tickets, “are available now”.
What is on
The club lists outside bars, several food outlets and funfair rides for children before the display. The 2025 notice on the council’s page also mentioned vegan and vegetarian food options; the 2026 page does not repeat that detail.

The 2026 figures are from the rugby club’s page and its Comus ticket shop; the 2025 figures are from the town council’s page. Every ticket is up by £1 to £3, and parking by £2.
Getting there and parking
On-site parking is limited, and the club sells it only as a £7 ticket alongside the entry tickets.
